We collect information you provide when creating an account, listing equipment, making a booking, or contacting us. This may include name, email, company name, phone number, vehicle details (make, model, VIN/serial number), pickup/drop-off addresses, and messages. If an equipment owner requires identity verification, or if you use Stripe Identity to verify yourself, Stripe collects a photo ID and selfie directly — we receive only the verification result and your verified name, not the underlying document or image.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to operate the marketplace, facilitate bookings, communicate with you, improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Information Sharing
We share limited information between owners and renters as needed to complete a booking (e.g., contact details, pick-up location). We do not sell personal information.
4. Service Providers
We use third-party services to operate the platform, each of which processes only what it needs to perform its function:
- Stripe — payment processing, payouts to equipment owners, and optional identity verification.
- Supabase — application hosting, database, and sign-in.
- Resend — transactional email (booking and account notifications).
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on our sign-in and sign-up forms.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Signed-in users can export their data or delete their account directly from the account page; deleting your account removes your personal details, though past bookings and signed rental contracts stay on record for the other party involved. You can also contact us to make a request another way.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential, functional cookies and browser storage only — to keep you signed in, maintain session state, and remember basic interface preferences. We do not currently use any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. If that changes, we'll update this section and add the appropriate consent controls before any such tool goes live.
8. Changes to This Policy
Kaibra LLC may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
