How it works

Rent a truck. Or rent out yours.

Rental Stride has three kinds of account: Renters, who book trucks; Owners, who list the trucks they own and are invited by a partner; and Partners — leasing companies and dealers who bring their owners onto the platform.

For renters

Step 1

Find the right truck

Filter by city, size and class. Every listing shows daily rate, payload, box length and availability.

Step 2

Request your dates

Pick your pick-up and return dates, add a pick-up location and any notes, then submit a request.

Step 3

Owner confirms

The owner reviews your request and confirms or cancels it. You will get an in-app notification as soon as they act.

Step 4

Pick up the keys

Once confirmed, arrange the final hand-off details directly with the owner through your dashboard.

For truck owners (invite only)

Step 1

Accept your invite

Owner accounts are invitation only. A partner leasing company or dealer sends you a single-use link that expires in 7 days.

Step 2

List your vehicle

Add photos, specs, daily rate, city and availability. Your listing goes live as soon as you publish.

Step 3

Manage requests

Booking requests land in your dashboard. Confirm the ones that fit your schedule and decline the rest.

Step 4

Coordinate hand-off

Once confirmed, message the renter through the platform to arrange pick-up and return.

Step 5

Get paid directly

Connect your own Stripe account. After you confirm, the renter pays online and the money goes straight to you — Rental Stride takes no cut.

For partner companies

Step 1

Apply to partner

Leasing companies and dealers apply on the Partnering page. Rental Stride reviews and activates the account.

Step 2

Invite your owners

From the partner console you send secure invites to the truck owners you work with — each link works once and expires in 7 days.

Step 3

Watch the fleet come online

See every owner you've onboarded, how many trucks they've listed and whether their payouts are ready.
