FAQ

Questions & answers

Everything you need to know about renting, listing, and running rentals on Rental Stride.

How does renting a truck work?

Browse the fleet, select the dates you need, and submit a request. The owner reviews and confirms or cancels the booking. Once confirmed, you arrange pick-up details directly through the dashboard.

What types of trucks can I rent?

Rental Stride hosts box trucks, cargo vans, flatbeds, refrigerated trucks and other fleet vehicles. Each listing shows payload, box length, daily rate and location so you can find the right fit.

Is insurance included?

Insurance is the responsibility of the renter and the owner. Rental Stride does not provide coverage. We strongly recommend that both parties carry valid commercial auto liability coverage and verify coverage before each rental.

Who is liable if something happens during a rental?

Liability is determined by the rental agreement between the owner and renter, and by applicable law. Rental Stride is a marketplace platform only and does not assume liability for vehicles or their use. See our Disclosures & Notices for details.

How do payments work?

Rental Stride handles booking requests through the platform. Payment terms and collection are agreed between the owner and renter. We recommend documenting the total price, deposit, and any fees before the rental begins.

How do I list my truck?

Create an owner account, go to the dashboard, and add your truck with photos, specs, daily rate, city and availability. Your listing becomes searchable once it is published.

Can I cancel a booking?

Owners can cancel any requested booking. Renters can request cancellation before a booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, cancellation and refund terms are governed by the agreement between owner and renter.

What happens if a truck breaks down?

Owners are expected to maintain their vehicles and keep DOT inspections current. Renters should report issues immediately. Roadside assistance and repair responsibility depend on the rental agreement.
