Important legal and operational information for renters and owners using the Rental Stride marketplace.
Platform role
Rental Stride is a peer-to-peer marketplace operated by Kaibra LLC. We connect vehicle owners with renters but do not own, operate, lease, or insure any vehicles listed on the platform. All rentals are direct agreements between the owner and the renter.
Insurance requirements
Rental Stride does not provide auto insurance or liability coverage. Both owners and renters must maintain their own valid commercial or personal auto insurance policies, as appropriate for the vehicle and jurisdiction. Proof of insurance may be requested by either party before a rental begins.
Liability disclaimer
Rental Stride and Kaibra LLC are not liable for damage, loss, injury, or other claims arising from vehicle condition, renter operation, third-party conduct, or any agreement between users. Disputes are the responsibility of the owner and renter. Users agree to release Rental Stride and Kaibra LLC from claims related to rentals arranged through the platform.
Vehicle condition and inspections
Owners represent that listed vehicles are legally registered, insured, and maintained. We recommend a pre- and post-rental inspection, documented in writing or with photos, to avoid disputes about damage or cleanliness.
Payment and taxes
Rental Stride facilitates booking requests. Payment collection, deposits, refunds, and applicable taxes are the responsibility of the owner and renter unless otherwise handled through the platform. Users are responsible for complying with all tax obligations in their jurisdiction.
Changes to notices
Kaibra LLC may update these disclosures and notices at any time. Continued use of the Rental Stride platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated notices.
